WANTED
my favorite sweater
Handspun and knit. It took me months and 2 lbs of special roving ordered from Dyeing for fiber..which is out of business. I was so proud of it.
My first all handspun sweater is gone..Lost or stolen. I had it Monday and may have left it at a restaurant but they say its not there. Bill and I have searched the house ..its not here!! I cried..I did..I'm so sad!! But, at least I have a picture of it. It was very pretty. I hope it comes home or is especially loved by who has it. Sigh

Rich Fronds Tee Shirt
Rich Fronds
Isn't it Pretty? From Creative Knitting, May 2005. Going to make it with Lambs Pride cotton in a turquoise color. Had a horrible time figuring out the pattern. The first 2 rows kept referring to an A B C & D and there wasn't any on the chart. I'd almost given up till I checked their correction page. There it was.. ABCD on the chart..THANK YOU!! Now I can worry about my brain not the pattern. I can deal with that!
Had a lovely lunch with Liza today, who promptly explained the first 2 rows to me. Now I'm several into it and its so easy ... THANKS LIZA
And yes, it is another deviation from the Sari waste sweater.

Did better then I thought
English Genius:
You scored 85% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 80% Advanced, and 80% Expert!
You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!
Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

Sweater? What Sweater..not making a sweater??
Baby Blankets for Jami
So, I dusted off the Bond knitting frame and here with a little knit and crochet ruffle are the products of a days work. She will probably get all the blankets etc that I knit for Jyll but you can never have to many little blankies.
There is also a hat in the works .. we'll see if I finish IT!!

Flower Basket Shawls
Lots of hard work but they are both finished and blocked. I tried to get a good shot of them on me but I can't seem to not make a mess of it. I have such a horrid urge to make another...thats sick, huh? How many of these things do I really need?
The Pink one is Alpaca from Knit picks lace weight doubled. The other is from Australia..sent by Sascha (a long time E-pal) who sends me the coolest stuff every Christmas. Wish I had a webpage for this yarn company but they are not on the web as of yet. sigh!!
Guess I have to work on the Sari waste/Merino sweater now. Unless I find something else to make.

The merino/sari waste before its spun
I'm working on the Flower Basket shawl in pink alpaca from Knitpicks (Below)
and a white one out of wool from my friend Sascha in Australia..a Christmas present.
Next to finish the sweater from the merino and sari waste. Just have to make the sleeves. I'll do them on the Knitting machine (Bond knitting frame)
